Job Description
  • Establish the bluesign® SYSTEM in the segments Professional Wear and Promotional Apparel in Europe. As per Bluesign definition, the segment Professional Wear consists of the sub-segments Workwear, Corporate Fashion, Gastronomy Wear, Uniforms, Clean room wear and Medical Wear.
  • Supporting suppliers of Professional Wear and Promotional Apparel (Garment manufacturers, material suppliers) in implementing the bluesign® SYSTEM in their organization, marketing and supply chain.
  • Maintain regular contact to brands to promote/sell the bluesign services(new acceleration program, ACADEMY services)
  • Develops additional business/value for bluesign and our system partners (existing and new service schemes)
  • Support of regional and local CRM activities (cross region support)
  • Support of bluesign market penetration activities
  • Assisting the bluesign Technical Services Department (TSE) in developing Professional Wear and Promotional Apparel specific technical service tools/processes
  • Strengthening the value of the bluesign® SYSTEM within brands organizations (focus sustainability)

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish the bluesign® SYSTEM and services in the segments Professional Wear and Promotional Apparel together with the bluesign organization (especially with CRM colleagues, Brand Services team and Marketing team)
  • Develop and implement the Sales and Marketing strategy in the segments Professional Wear and Promotional Apparel
    • in line with the overall company strategy
    • communication, presentations, speeches
    • trade shows, networking
  • CRM Management (with CRM team)
    • support and coordinate all customer related activities
    • ensure payments and keep customer data updated
    • training of customer personnel in co-operation with Brand Services and Academy
    • acquire new customers (Brands, Garment manufacturers, Material suppliers)
  • Regular feedback on sales activities, competitor activities and market developments
  • Ensure achievement of objectives set in mid-range plan and yearly budgets
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of services, in particular for Brands

Qualifications
  • Several years of sales experience in the textile industry and with textile products.
  • Target profile 1: minimum 5 years of sales experience at a Brand (preferably a Professional Wear or Promotional Apparel brand).
  • Target profile 2: minimum 5 years of experience as a sales manager Europe or area sales manager Europe at a fabric or trim supplier to Professional Wear or Promotional Apparel brands.
  • Experience with multi stakeholder initiatives (textile-, NGO’s and sustainability organizations within the Professional Wear and Promotional Apparel industry). Experience in sustainability
  • Knowledge in textile processing and manufacturing chain
  • Excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Team player
  • Sales experience, used to work towards achieving ambitious revenue and margin budgets
  • International travel experience
